Income Property Mortgage

This term refers to the type of loan which enables the investor to buy a rental property, residential or commercial. There are major hurdles to overcome in securing such a loan: the investor may have to furnish estimates of the rental income he/she expects the property to generate, or fork over a substantial down payment. Moreover, there aren’t many loan programs designed to help investors, so when in need, the latter have to turn to private lenders dependent on the fickle credit markets.
