Investment Property

This term refers to a real estate property purchased with ROI in mind, to be obtained either from rent, future resale, perhaps both. If the investor is thinking in the long-term, he/she will probably be more interested in an income property such as, an apartment building.   On the other hand, the investor who wants to make a relatively quick profit might be able to do it by flipping the property (for example, buying it and selling it after renovating the property).
